Armor Attack - fixed version?

I was wondering if anyone out there has a fixed version of Armor
Attack?
My son and I are getting pretty good at the game on co-op (it's a
great game 2 player if you haven't tried) but we encounter the bug
where when only one of you is left and, I think, a tank goes over
where the dead player died the second player dies... No fair!

I didn't know this problem. But at least it means the player who first
died doesn't have to sit around for a longer time than necessary.
