is truly a master piece of work, and as for when you jump time zones
for those who can remember the game plot it’s a Vector Joy the
animated sequence is mesmerizing,
The overlay also as on Kristof earlier creation VECTREIXANS is know
for it’s illusion of full colour well he’s certainly achieved it again
with VECTOR PILOT the limited use of colours and the effect is creates
is stunning,
Transport yourself back to the 1980’s Arcade game experience this time

Not much to add from my side: Vector Pilot is definetely a master piece. The
many animations, the well-balanced, fast and varying game play, the many
little details including the "Credit" animation screen and "Scores" screen
is amazing.

Kristof, thank you for effort in creating and now releasing your second
brilliant Vectrex game, Vector Pilot!

My copy turned up right before I left for Germany for Eurocon, so I
haven't had a chance to test it... but as one of the first beta
testers, it's been a four year or more journey to get this finished
and out to the masses for them to enjoy! It seems not that long ago
when at CGE 2007 I had the chance to play this for the first time, and
was blown away by how good it already worked. They say the last 10% of
a game takes the longest amount of time. Definitely applies here
making sure everything was just right!

If you play or collect Vectrex, then you need a copy of this game...

I completely agree with the sentiments of KosmikVector regarding
VectorPilot.There is no exaggeration on his part.
The game is up there with the greats like Protector and GravitrexPlus.
I would even venture to say it is at the very top.
And as an appreciator of Vectrex overlays, the overlay that comes with
VectorPilot is fantastic quality and really does add pseudo colour to
the graphics.
Government health warning :) - In this game multiple pressing of the
firebutton is a must to survive.
I also had the privelage of being an early betatester and it was this
game that caused me to have a finger injury which led to the creation
of my autofire dongle.

The Fluidity. The Finish. Most importantly, the fun were all very
excellent back in 2007 when I took VectorPilot out to CGE 2007 to show
to the public. Thanks for letting me do that Kristof.

Watching the beta software improve thought the development process
since then was a guilty pleasure. Looking forward to the day the
final package product arrives at my door.

Just had the first go of this as has my 6yo boy.

Fantastic job, really playable, plays a lot more 'arcadey' than most
Vectrex games, really smooth controls.

The boy was able to get to the 3rd phase on Easy after a few goes too.

Graphics and overall presentation are top notch and the overlays look
and feel like originals.

Easily makes the top 5 Vec games ever IMO.

Personally, I use joystick settings "Left/Right" instead of "Quadrature". I
recommend anyone to try it out, from my point of view it gives you more
control than "Quadrature" (even if "Quadrature" is used by the original
arcade game). Alternatively just use the buttons for left/right.

Good stuff. One day, not too far away, your boy will beat you. That's for
sure.

So I finally had a chance to play this over the weekend. Once again I
can't believe how awesome this game is.

So far I've gotten to level 9 on normal mode. 1 achievement
unlocked. Finding you will not be easy but I WILL FIND YOU!!
