A Protector/Yasi game has just been sold at ebay for 51 GBP.

I'm a collector and willing to pay a bit higher prices, but that is far too
much... Also, the game is still available at www.classicgamecreations.com
(box is different, though). If only all this extra money paid would go into
developers' pockets...

Agreed. I thought you were talking about an original release
with overlay and black box, but it's just the cheap release.
It's too bad, as that's really somone being taken advantage of.
Clearly they are unaware of the fact that they can buy it from
classicgamecreations.com for a fraction of the price.

Thank you for your comment, George. *Sometimes* I'm a bit frustrated about
the Vectrex items and their high prices, but that's collectors life and
probably what makes collecting interesting. We should just make sure that
rare Vectrex items remain the exception and do not become standard. ;-)

Another Protector/YASI (not LE version) being bidded to a high amount :

Wow! it went for £58.77 plus postage in the end. That's outrageously
high; those bidders must have been completely unaware that you can
get it for just $12.50 at www.classicgamecreations.com

Yes, strange prices. As written above, the game sold on classicgamecreations
differs in the box (John Donzila ran out of boxes), so a bit higher price
for the "original" standard version of Protector/Yasi is rectified, I think.

Currently I'm offering Vectrexians at ebay (for German buyers, only) and am
nosey to see how high the bids go. To avoid too high bids, I've written that
the game can be purchased brand new from Kristof Tuts.

Ups! It's my fault, I bidded £57.77 but I lost the auction for just
one pound. LOL.

I'm aware that I can get it cheaper, but I wanted that version with
the original cover art, and I guess the winner will have thought the
same as I.

First thing I am going to do when I get home tonight is check which
cover art I've got with my Protector/YASI which I bought a couple of
years ago.
If its the original cover I think I am going to put it in a glass
cabinet...
