Instructions in a PDF and the game in a BIN file are included in the ZIP file. REVECTOR is designed to be most fun in a 2 player simultaneous game, but does include a computer controlled enemy for 1 player gameplay with a single controller. Gameplay is an arena combat style game where your goal is to shoot and destroy the enemy vehicle while picking up power-up items to help you destroy the enemy vehicle. Shots and vehicles bounce off of the walls.
Email comments/questions welcome, especially if you test this out on your vectrex and not just the emulator! I have been playing the game on my vectrex for a while now, and welcome your feedback.

I tried it out on the console via VecRAM cart. Nice! The computer just wipes me out! I'll have to practice! And the manual is well done! Professional look too! Thanks!
Suddenly there are more and more games to play! :)

Hey, I don't have VecRAM, but if you put it into Vectrex cart, I'll buy it.

I'm here, always listening for talk on new Vectrex developments.

*puts hand up*
Yup here... I chip in very occasionally... I buy pretty much all the new games taht come out... try to do my 'bit'... leant Richard Hutchinson a lightpen for some project or another.
I think I have one of the most complete collections of Vectrex stuff in the UK... commercially released stuff that is.

Great! Go for it! Want suggestions .. just post a request and you will get a bunch of RGV activity!

Nice job! Very well done!
I noticed in your instruction manual that you are allowing the distribution of cartridges "at cost". I suggest that you send your zip file to Mark Shaker. He sells many Vectrex games in cartridge form "at cost".

It's always been that way. Because r.g.vectrex is outside the normal r.g.video.* hierarchy, it doesn't attract as much attention. That has it's good side. Never fear, there are plenty of us lurking around here.

Count me in for a Revector cart version too (no vecflash here either). Good timing as I've reached the last I Cyborg boss (he beats me by the time I've hit him five times).

For those of you who wish to have a cart of Revector, I give permission for them to be produced "at cost" in the instruction manual. I personally will not be selling the carts, but others may. Is Mark of "Mark's Vectrex Carts" still making carts for ~$10? If so go here and ask for one:
btw - I fixed a tiny bug that could cause a random noise (a small squeal on my vectrex) when the very first wave starts in revector. I have updated the binary file for those that already downloaded the older version. I think this is probably the last bug. Here is the link again:
