My collection also lacks of
- Minestorm II
- Protector LE
- Debris LE
- Star Sling LE
- Dark Tower
- Pitcher's Duel (black cart, overlay ?)
- Logo

Best regards,

Helmut

PS:
I have many double MB games (boxed, manual & overlay) and in good condition
to offer. Mail me if you're interested. Preferably I ship within Germany.

@Rudy:
I hope it's o.k. to use your topic. Perhaps we could open a topic with
subject "November 2009: Wanted items" or "November 2009: Marketplace" every
two months . All people looking for for Vectrex items could post there.

I'm beginning to wonder if VeCaves could be one of the hardest to
acquire homebrews out there. At least the Protector LE has been on
eBay a number of times; I think I've seen one VeCaves auction in five
years. Even our Swedish collector friend David Elfstrom didn't have
one either.

By Vec Sports Boxing LE, do you mean the original 14 unit production
run in a cardboard box? Nigh on impossible to get one of those I'd
imagine. I got "lucky" in that a good mate of mine had one and decided
to sell it to me.

I think all I miss is a Mr Boston cartridge...

Did George only make that few? I've got one of them too, just for
completion sake. As for Mr Boston, well there are things and certain
things... it can be mostly a question of money.

VSB's produced by me (marked Fury Unlimited):

15 were produced a couple years ago with the older
style cross-grid box designs that I used to do. I lost
the artwork prior to GDG wanting more made, so I
ended up doing all of the artwork and the manual over
again (earlier this year). This is why the newer VSB
and Royal 21 share my newer box design style, without
the cross-grid. The newer version will be available
through GDG for as long they want to sell them, the
original batch being 20 units.

I'd be interested in VecCaves but I think a really "large" and long-time
collector like Martijn or David should get it.

That's a snapshot of part of my loft... Protector LE is in a box on
its own to protect it. :o) I have a Vectorcade controller too... I
think the only thing I've sold before is my Spinnerama collection to
Mayhem I think.

Anyway, I might be selling some stuff and it would be nice for it to
go to a good home.

Chris,

I've got much of David's stuff since he sold up including his dutch
ball and nicer Kousokusen. I'd give it a very very nice home. :)
Veccaves and the Boxing LE are all I miss.
Actually I'd be especially interested in the Vectorcade. I can't
access this flikr link. Which colour is it? ..and is it the disco
finish? :)

Solar war(s) Yay!
I only made 8 of these (pre-release for Eurocon 2007)
I wonder where they went? Can you raise a hand if you have one?

Yeah, the photo appears to be set to "private" on Flickr so we can't
see it...

The only previous eBay appearance of VeCaves I recall was back in 2006
I think when Rik nabbed a copy. Can't remember how much it went for. I
was "lucky" enough to be at CGE 2002 when it was released and got my
copy there, along with the first regular (non limited) release of
VecSports Boxing. And so began my fascination with Vectrex homebrew
acquisition...

David's Vectorcade went to me actually when he auctioned off a bunch
of his items. Wouldn't part with it for the world, in its snazzy
glittery blue shinyness :)

I have a shiny glittery blue shineyness too.
Like the recent vectrex register maybe we could track down the colours
and variations on the 26+1 Vectorcades?

Alex

P.S. I covet Chris Romero's vectorcade (and not the yellow one)

Hey Alex,

don't know why the flickr pic is saying private as all my pics are
public on there, hey ho...

Pics from when it arrived:

http://www.blockygraphics.co.uk/vectrex/vectorcade.jpg
http://www.blockygraphics.co.uk/vectrex/vectorcade2.jpg

Pic of the insides after Brett tipped everyone off about hidden
messages:

But actually the vectorcade is something I'll probably keep :¬D

http://www.blockygraphics.co.uk/gamesroom/shelf1.jpg

That's the loft at some point... can't really see all the Fury games
there... I have a smaller run version of one of those I think... 'Aces
Wild' or some such.

Thanks Chris, looks similar to mine, I guess most of the buyers
requested tough guy blue. :)

I took one (natch)... I think Jon Legg grabbed one. Not sure about the
others. Pepijn I'm guessing got one.

David's Vectorcade was one of the prototypes (I'll have to look at the
base again to see exactly what it says) before the run commenced. I
never knew about the messages inside, now I'm tempted to open it open
and see if there's anything in there :p

It's simple and safe to do so and all the messages are unique
apparently.
