You might wonder: "Where have the Vectrex people and all the discussions
have gone?"

The Vectrex community is small and most remaining people have moved to the
Vector gaming forum run by Darryl:
http://vectorgaming.proboards.com

The forum offers various advantages, e.g. you can add posts to even old
topics. For just reading, no registration is required. Sure enough forum
registration and usage is for free.

Thanks for the as usual promotion, Helmut :) It's not unusual for this
newsgroup to go dead though at times.

I've only seen a couple of forums ever when people complain if an old
topic is bumped up. This site definitely isn't one of them. I don't
get what the deal is, especially if a person gets their first Vectrex
ever from e-bay and wants to talk about how great Vector Pilot is five
years after its been released. What's so horrible about that?

For just reading, no registration is required.

**Actually even several areas don't require a registration either. I
forget which forums require people to have an account with the site in
order to post (I'll admit I'm being to lazy to go look) but all the
vector stuff is free to visitors, at least.

I didn't word that entirely properly (wish there was a preview button
on here!), as I meant to say not all of the forums require an account
in order to be able to post on there. Even visitors can post on
several of the forums without an account (all the vector-related stuff
is open to visitors to post). Anyone can read any and everything on
there without an account, although some circumstances could change
without notice (I shut off two forums several months ago to visitors'
eyes when we had a spammer, but everything is open once more though).
