Rare Entries Contest OQ-01 Ends

Rare Entries Contest OQ-01 is now closed, and thanks to all who entered.

As a first attempt at this genre I deliberately tried to keep the
questions reasonably straightforward. Nevertheless, even after
correcting the wording for question 1, the entrants demonstrated that I
had been insufficiently careful in my wording for at least two other
questions, and several made hay with this.

I will now undertake the scoring and post the results as soon as may be,
complete with explanations for any decisions that I make that may seem
contentious.

Like #0. I considered entering, but do not know enough about the
other areas. For #0, I would have answered "Canada". I have seen
penguins at the Stanley Park Zoo, and it is reasonable to expect to
see penguins in at least one zoo in Canada.

Do the marks that the scoring makes last very long? How long do
they take to fade?
