These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on 2011-06-20,
and should be interpreted accordingly. All questions were written
by members of the Misplaced Modifiers, but have been reformatted
and may have been retyped and/or edited by me. I will reveal the
correct answers in about 3 days.

For further information, including an explanation of the """ notation
that may appear in these rounds, see my 2021-07-20 companion posting
on "Reposted Questions from the Canadian Inquisition (RQFTCI*)".

* Game 6, Round 4 - Science - the Human Body, Colloquially

Seems like every part of the body and every bodily function,
condition, and secretion has both a fancy Greek or Latin name and
the down-to-earth, descriptive English name we use in conversation.
Trachea and windpipe, to give an example. In these questions,
we'll give you the fancy name, you give us the colloquial term.

Questions #1-5 refer to parts of the body.

1. Ulnar nerve.
2. Laryngeal prominence.
3. Deciduous teeth.
4. Sudoriferous glands.
5. Coccyx ["KOK-six"].

Questions #6-10 refer to physical conditions.

6. Rhinorrhea.
7. Periorbital hematoma.
8. Alopecia.
9. Medial tibial stress syndrome.
10. Pes planus.

* Game 6, Round 6 - Geography - Liqueurs of the World

We will name and describe a liqueur, and you tell which one of the
following is its country of origin:

| Belize | Greece | Scotland
| Brazil | Italy | Serbia
| Chile | Lithuania | South Africa
| Croatia | Malta | Spain
| Czech Republic | Netherlands | Suriname
| Denmark | Peru
| Germany | Portugal

1. Krupnikas is made from grain alcohol, honey, and over 50 herbs.
Where?

2. It's made from a small shrub much like a cranberry. Where is
Murtado from?

3. A cream liqueur, Amarula is made from the fruit of the Marura
tree, locally called the elephant tree or the marriage tree.
In which country?

4. Flavoured with the resin of the mastica tree, the aptly named
Chios Mastiha is from which country?

5. Becherovka is a herbal bitters flavored with anise seeds,
cinnamon, and other herbs. Where is it made?

6. Bajtra is a sweet liqueur made from prickly pear. Made where?

7. A concoction of rum and tangerine essence. Avrum's gold color
comes from the addition of locally grown saffron. Which country?

8. Manzana is made from wild apples. Hugely popular, particularly
in the north of this country.

9. Pisang Ambon is a banana and tropical fruit liqueur based on
an old Indonesian recipe. It is made now in which country?

10. Ginjinha is a sour-cherry-infused liqueur served locally in
shot glasses with the fruit in the bottom. In which country?
