I think that started in the pub quiz league in which Mark B. and I
play.
My son Michael started using it instead of Smith, which had been
the default. Of course, the one time he didn't use it was when
asked for the Rock's real name. :(

In the game Trivial Pursuit, I started using Pope Pius XII as my
default answer. My sister picked up on the habit -- except, alas,
