What Ho! rgt-ers, and welcome to RQ207.

Australia's total trade with foreign countries totals some AU $670 billion p.a. You task is to nominate our top 15 trade partners (in AU dollar terms, goods and services, imports and exports) as per Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade data for 2013/14. So just provide a list of up to 15 countries. There will be no penalty for any incorrect countries included on your lists. Tie breaker (if required) will be by earlier entry date. You have a week or so to enter.

Good luck!

cheers,
calvin

The link night be easier in case the table doesn't format well.

1 China 159,643 23.9
2 Japan 72,173 10.8

4 Republic of Korea 34,589 5.2

13 Taiwan  12,549 1.9
14 Vietnam  9,232 1.4
15 United Arab Emirates 8,707 1.3

The interesting thing for me is how few EU countries are on the list. UAE surprised me and all of you as well obviously. I guess it's mostly oil one way and education the other. Philippines and Saudi Arabia were the most popular wrong answers.

Thank you. Kind of amazed I got 13 out of 15.

Unlike most previous times I've won this, I have an idea for the next
RQ, so expect it soon.

As they say "business is local". It seems that most entrants understood
this. It irks me that I failed to consider South Korea.

UAE? Who would have known. Well, at least it renders the guess of Saudi
Arabia reasonable...
