Can anyone recommend some better blue creatures I could put in a deck?
Bearing in mind that blue doesn't get efficient creatures, and that
you're best off having a few decent creatures that you can protect,
here are some ideas for substantial creatures:
Mahamoti Djinn {4}{U}{U} Creature - Djinn 5/6
/ Flying
Palinchron {5}{U}{U} Creature - Illusion 4/5
/ Flying
/ When Palinchron comes into play, untap up to seven lands.
/ {2}{U}{U}: Return Palinchron to its owner's hand.
Denizen of the Deep {6}{U}{U} Creature - Serpent 11/11
/ When Denizen of the Deep comes into play, return each other creature
you control to its owner's hand.
Guile {3}{U}{U}{U} Creature - Elemental Incarnation 6/6
/ Guile can't be blocked except by three or more creatures.
/ If a spell or ability you control would counter a spell, instead
remove that spell from the game and you may play that card without
paying its mana cost.
/ When Guile is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its
owner's library.
Jodah's Avenger {5}{U} Creature - Shapeshifter 4/4
/ {0}: Until end of turn, Jodah's Avenger gets -1/-1 and gains your
choice of double strike, protection from red, vigilance, or shadow.
Serra Sphinx {3}{U}{U} Creature - Sphinx 4/4
/ Flying, vigilance
As always, the creatures you use ought to play into a larger overall
strategy. First work out what your route to success is going to be,
and then build around that theme. This is most important for blue,
as a blue deck really needs to focus its effort on a particular
strategy to be able to pull it off.
