TOM: Q: DS: Tereza Rostas (Ravnos) vs. Sabbat Threat counters

I assume that Tereza Rostas cannot use her special ability (steal the
edge from another Methuselah) if the edge is uncontrolled, yes?

So, if the Methuselah with the edge also has one or two Sabbat Threat
counters on her (which may be burned by sacrificing the edge),
could she sacrifice the edge during the /declare blockers/ phase of
the action (after Tereza Rostas has already burned two pool), and
if so, does the action (assuming it is unblocked) fizzle?
