Can cards stolen by Agitas's ability be traded with Succubus Club?
Do they physically go into the target player's hand, or do they
stay down on the table?

The image of selling your prey's library for pool (and, of course,
other cards-from-hand to preserve hand size as per SC text) is an
amusing concept.. :)

Sorry, hit "send" too early..

If that is possible, and the card gets given back to its original
owner (i.e. 'holding his cards for ransom'), does it go back into his
hand?

They can be traded.
The card Agaitas allowed you to draw remains face-up in the new hand.
The card you traded for remains "in-hand" in you hand.

No, it would still remain face-up until played or discarded.
