Obedience:
"Only usable when this reacting vampire is about to enter combat
with an acting younger vampire."
Is Obedience playable against a (unblocked) Deep Song rush?
Yes - Deep Song only changes who is the acting minion in combat -
Obedience is played before combat.
Boogie
And I assume a vamp blocking with Sniper Rifle can still set the range
even fi they count as acting vampire in the combat?
Moot.
Deep Song is an action. If it's blocked, there's no switch. If it's not blocked,
there's no blocking minion.

Case 1. The action is blocked. Any text on the Deep Song action is
ignored (there is no alteration of impulse sequencing). The blocking
minion may set range with the sniper rifle.
Case 2. The is unblocked. The impulse sequencing is reversed by Deep
Song's text and the target plays combat cards as if he were the acting
minion. There was no successful block, the sniper rifle cannot be
used to set range (Sniper Rifle card text)
What about a Cailean VS Selective Silence situation? Cailean rushes
via DS, "acting minion" has option to set range first, right?
Sure. That's the point.
Cailean will most likely NOT like someone with QUI setting range to
long though... ;)
Ops wasn't really thinking there ;)
