I can't taste of vitae blood lost due to Blood to Water right? I assume
this because BtW does not do "damage", and Taste does say in its errata:
-----
Only counts blood that the opposing vampire burned as a result of
damage. It will not, for example, give blood for blood spent playing
combat cards or stolen blood. [RTR 19960124]
-----
No mention is made of cards which burn blood, while not stealing it.
The errata does use the word "burn", which is the word that BtW uses as
well. Clarifications?
Thanks,
Chris

Blood to Water does not do damage, and cannot send a vampire
to torpor, (nor burn a vampire). Because it burns blood off
of a vampire and does not do damage, you may not use a Taste
of Vitae to acquire the blood lost by the opposing vampire.

Before you buy.
Since no damage is done by Blood to Water, the blood lost cannot
be tasted (since, as you note, taste only counts the blood lost
for damage).
