Q : what if the minion already has some levels of Dom or For ? Examples :
- Dom
- no dom, FOR
- DOM, no for
Do we still put the 4 counters ? Does he still need 2 counters to get sup
DOM and 4 to get FOR no matter what ?
I think Matthias and co will love this card...

My guess: The First counter makes dom DOM and the second has no affect.

Matthias can already bounce.
I'm thinking Howler could use it well. Gives her a way to deflect bleeds and
immunity from Kiss of Ra.
Anyone know what the "Seal of Veddartha" is meant to represent? The "vampire
genealogy" page shows Veddartha as a childe of the Ventrue antedilluvean,
but I don't remember him from any of the books.

Great Idea, I was thinking of it in a Burst of Sunlight deck.

Exactly.
And Muaziz and her For friends...
Now, really, isn't this piece of equipement a little TOO big ? The only
drawback I can see is that it will be mucho contested. But seriously :
- a Unique Laptop, not for weenie
- gives Dom
- Gives For
For a cost of 1 !!
Compare with the Hand of Conrad or Changeling Skin Mask, and tell me if you
see a rise in power ? Not to mention that Dom and For may very well be the 2
most powerful disciplines in the game...
And as mentionned, even if you just need the Dom part, you'll be glad when
you don't fear Kiss of Rā anymore...

The first drawback is that you have to have a certain capacity range to
use it. If DOM and FOR are big in your deck, chances are that any vampire
large enough will already have some points in those disciplines, thus
reducing the efficiency of the card.
The second drawback is that it takes time to gain the disciplines. In that
time, the vampire can be torpored, the equipment can be stolen or
burned...
The third drawback, which is sometimes an advantage is that when it
changes minions, it loses its counters. So you can't Heidelberg it to your
other minions very efficiently, but at least it's not as cool when someone
steals it.
And *then* it's unique.

No, it is not a laptop. A laptop is permanent plus bleed. This is an
equipment that gives the bearer a free computer hack.

Muaziz was my first thought as well. This little beauty will give her
the disciplines she so sorely lack, and as a bonus she can bleed for 2
at +1 stealth.... sw33t! :)

Correction: it doesn't give you +1 bleed, it gives you the ability to
take a +1 bleed action. A huge difference if you are already packing a
lot of Dom bleed action cards.

Hi there WES!!
In the RPG, Veddartha is supposedly the name of the Ventrue
Antedeluvian. I can´t recall any reference to any Seal of his. The
Road of Kings book describes a Cup of Veddartha or something, but not
a Seal, and it´s more symbolic than actually magical. He was the ruler
of the Second City after the 3rd generation destroyed the 2nd, and had
access to it´s treasures. Some of which the Ravnos antedeluvian tried
to steal as a favor for Ennoia (Gangrel), his lover at the time, who
was only trying to frame him to be better accepted by her peers. THE
BITCH! Anyway, her plan works, the Ventrue Antedeluvian captures the
Ravnos Antedeluvian, stakes him for the sun on top of the city´s
highest building, where he meets the dawn next day and is destroyed.
Ravnos´little gypsy sister rats on Ventrue and Ennoia directly to Cain
himself, who ressurrects (!) Ravnos and curses Ennoia to walk, smell
and look like the animal she so much loved behaving like. All this
according to a legend in the Ravnos Clanbook.
The cool thing about the Seal is that it gives you a bleed action, it
doesn´t increase your permanent bleed, so you can safely have a
superior Dive into Madness and the Seal for example, and still not be
the target of pesky Justicar Retributions!

Yes.
No. Adding a level of dom to a level of dom produces two levels of dom
(i.e. superior).

the Hidden...
It is a sumerian clay tablet with cuneiform characters which read
Veddartha (one of the best known Ventrue Antediluvian's aliases)... It
gives the bearer the ability to speak/read sumerian and to gain 2 dots
of Disciplines per year, up to Dominate 5 Fortitude 5 Presence 5
Potence 5 and it converts human blood into vitae...

Yes. Adding a level of dom will do nothing to the level of for a vampire
has.

Ghaaaaaaaa, Magic of the Smith that toy out and go bleeding with Bonding at
SUP for some more stealth if necessary, combat defense with FOR....
I also want that (Navy) Seal !!!

I think it's because the seal basically change the human into a ghoul,
so he/she gets Potence...
