Q:

Can you use a kerrie at long range as a strike combined with sword of
the Righteous, so that the Strike with +1 str. and is agraveted ?

Card Text:

Only usable before range is determined

Choose a melee weapon on this vampire. This vamipre inflicts an
additional point of damage each strike with that weapons for the
remainder of the combat. A vampire can play only one Sword of the
Righteous each combat.

As above, and the damage inflicted by the weapon is aggravated.

As above, and prevent 1 damage this round.

Card Text:

Melee weapon. Requires a Laibon.

Strength+1 damage each strike. Alternatively, inflict strength ranged
damage as a strike and, after strike resolution, turn this weapon face
down (out of play) until the end of the action.

Yes.

Sounds like Fatima is going on holiday to Mozambique. ;)

Too card-intensive, IMO.

I agree. After Grafting on Val and taking an in-hand action, all the
while holding onto a Kerrie... Better to do it with Olugbenga,
Amaravati, or Yazid Tamari, who all have [ani] already. You can
Spontaneous Power them [val] (or Vial of Elder Vitae), and Olugbenga is
already Laibon. This would allow SoR to be used w/o [val] in place.
Still very card-intensive.

Qadir ul-Gahni can Blooding by the Code after changing clans, and take
a trip to Mozambique. Still lots of set-up.

There are 3 !Sal who are Laibon, so why Fatima? As the Assamite clan
newsletter editor, I'm very curious.

I don't understand why you'd want to give [val] to Fatima, Olugbenga,
or any Assamite... They have Baal's Bloody Talons, assuming you own
enough of those... BBT + Kerrie is the perfect combo because Kerrie
will be out of play when BBT tries to burn it.

I would think the base of the deck would be Kamau Jafari, Olugbenga,
Ubende, and Massassi. The rest might just be Laibon with CEL that
you'll give Quietus skill cards.

I think you're all missing the point. Fatima goes to Mozambique and
becomes Laibon. She gets Kerries with her special and uses BAAL'S
BLOODY TALONS at any range! :)
