I'd be grateful for some help on a question about Brinkmanship. This
is the situation.

Methuselah A has 6 cards in hand, nothing in library. He preys on Meth
B.

Methuselah B has a half-full library. He preys on Meth C.

Methuselah C's library is empty, he has 6 cards in hand.

It is B's turn. B calls and passes Brinkmanship. His turn ends.

C's turn begins. He is obliged to withdraw by Brinkmanship. He
declares intention, the turn ends.

A's turn begins. He is obliged to withdraw by Brinkmanship. He
declares intention, the turn ends.

B's turn. Army of Rats burns 1 pool from C in his untap. The turn
ends.

C's turn begins, he has failed to withdraw and is ousted by
Brinkmanship.

A's turn begins. He successfully withdraws. B is then ousted by
Brinkmanship.

My questions are:

1. Does B receive a victory point for being the last Methuselah in the
game? (After A has withdrawn but before the Brinkmanship triggers)

2. Does A receive a victory point for B being ousted by the
Brinkmanship?

Fundamentally, are the withdrawal of a Methuselah and the ousting of
the controller of Brinkmanship a simultaenous ousting or separate
events?

Thanks,

Phil

Assume: A has a hand size of 7 or more.

Assume: C has a hand size of 7 or more.

C is free to take his turn as normal, of course.

A can take his turn as normal, as well.

OK.

B is not ousted. The game ends when A withdraws, since there is
only one Methuselah left.

Yes.

No.

Separate.
