Okay, I have two questions which (this time) are hopefully not
self-answering:

1) Does Far Mastery have any effect on Charnas whatsoever?

2) Is the bleed modifer conferred by Spying Mission used before or after
attempts to block?

Sure, but you usually wouldn't want Charnas on your side.

Spying MIssion is not a bleed Modifier. It is a change-of-effect card
usable only on a successful bleed. You may play it (I suppose)
before the block attempts, but it will be useless if the bleed
does not resolve for a bleed of at least on pool. (Telepathic Counter
could also negate the effects of Spying Mission).

Heh. gomei no sensei kindly pointed out that the question was not
the simple one that I chose to answer, but rather a question as to
when to burn the Spying MIssion for +2 bleed after successfully playing it
on a vampire.

Sorry - I have no official answer.

I would guess that it is only burned (madatory, by card text) on the
next successful (that is, unblocked) bleed. The DT may have other ideas,
tho.

Its use is mandatory on the next bleed against that player which is
not blocked and not reduced to 0 by other modifiers.

Can use use it (ie, is it's use optional) when the bleed is not blocked
but is unsuccessful due to being reduced to zero? (boosting it back up to
the positive range by 2) - even though not mandatory under this happenstance?
