Hello LSJ,

In a 4 or 5 player game, say I control Donatello Giovanni, and then my
prey is ousted via Fame on their turn.

1) Do I get a chance to use Donatello's power before my prey gets
ousted?
2) Assuming I do (or my prey choose the ordering, and let's
Donatello's power work), do I get to use Donatello's power again
during my next prey's untap? (and have both uses active at the same
time?)
3) Assuming I do, and I pick the same vampire twice, does Donatello
get 2 blood from that vampire?

My guess at the answers are:
1) Prey gets to order the effects. If they choose Fame damage first,
then they're ousted and Donatello's power has no opportunity to
trigger. Prey could choose to order Donatello's power before Fame
damage, though.
2) Yes, because the trigger happens twice.
3) Yes, because both applications of the effect are separate, so 1
blood is moved twice.

Thanks,
Ira

Name: Donatello Giovanni
[Gehenna:U]
Cardtype: Vampire
Clan: Giovanni
Group: 4
Capacity: 5
Discipline: aus pot pre DOM
Independent: During your prey's untap phase, choose a vampire
controlled by a Methuselah other than your predator. If the chosen
vampire attempts to bleed before your next untap phase, he or she
moves 1 blood to Donatello.

Doubtful, but that's up to the to-be-ousted Methuselah to order.

Yes.

Yes.

Good guessing.

So the only way that you could possibly chose the same vampire twice
is that two successive prey's control the same vampire during their
untap. Parmeniedes and Uriah Winter are the only two I can think of.
Who else else would their be?

No... it just has to be controlled by a Methuselah other than your
predator.
So, in a 4 player game, you choose your grandprey's Frederick the Weak.
Then your prey gets ousted during his own turn.
Then you choose Frederick again, during your new prey's untap phase.

On your soon to be ousted prey's turn you pick not
a vampire controlled by your prey but one controlled
by your grand-prey. On your grand-prey's untap you
pick the same vampire.
