Wrong. Blocking or being blocked is long hand for `entered combat
with'. It has been ruled this way in the past for cards, and I see no reason
why it shouldn't be this way for Spiritual Protector as well.

Wrong-o. Blocking or being blocked is very different from
entering combat, although the former leads to the latter.
If Duck takes an action and is blocked, the vampire blocking
him is tapped and they enter combat. If Duck Bum's Rushes
the same vampire, they enter combat but the vampire being
Rushed is *not* tapped. No one is blocked or blocking.
