Can I do this with a gargoyle slave ally when my !tremere is blocked?

No, since the ally is not a "Tremere anitribu slave".
He's not a "slave" in any sense of the game term.
The ally is also not a Gargoyle for any game purpose.

Maybe a Gargoyle Slave Ally is what happens when you have a Gargoyle Caitiff.
Or maybe when a Gargoyle has an Unacceptable Appearence, he gets cast out from
the clan and becomes a Gargoyle Slave Ally! =P

Maybe it is the offspring of a 15th generation Gargoyle and a human
being. Weird things happen in the WoD.
