Just recently noticed this.

If I recall correctly, the old Sabbat/SW didn't actually have a blood cost. You
just burned X blood to get X+1 or 2X+1 votes. Thus a full 10-cap could burn all
their blood for 11 or 21 votes.

But the new Camarilla Edition text is:

Awe [Sabbat, SW, CE]
Cardtype: Action Modifier
Cost: X blood
Discipline: Presence
Only usable during a referendum.
[pre] This vampire burns X blood to get X+1 votes.
[PRE] As above, but this vampire gets 2X+1 votes.

By having both a cost of X blood and an effect of burning X blood, it looks
like the vampire now has to pay twice as much blood. So a 10-cap vampire plays
Awe (paying a cost of 5 blood) and then for the effect burns 5 blood to get 6
or 11 votes. Is this correct? And if so, is this different from the way it used
to work? Thanks!

Errata: the inferior is just "This vampire gains X+1 votes".
It doesn't double-cost.

Good. Glad I caught that!

This is also kind of interesting since Ankara Citadel now interacts well with
Awe. Neato!
