Via e-mail, I recently asked a few questions to LSJ and in his response, he
suggested I post some of them on the newsgroup so that the answers would be
preserved (and also for the enlightenment of fellow newsgroupies). So I
actually already know the answers but...

#1. Okay, acting minion always gets the chance to play something first. So
Hidden Lurker trumps Fast Reaction. And it's pretty clear that the acting
minon's Psyche! beats the blocking minion's Psyche! I'm still a little hazy on
some Psyche! interactions though (searched Google, didn't help). So who wins?

A. Hidden Lurker vs. blocking minion's Psyche!

B. Acting minion's Psyche! vs. Fast Reaction.

#2. In addition, how does Cardinal Sin: Insubordination interact with the above
(Hidden Lurker, Fast Reaction, Psyche!). Does it have the same timing or does
it happen before? For example, Vampire A (non-titled Sabbat) is blocked by
Vampire B (Cardinal). Combat ends with both vampires ready. Vamp A wants to
Psyche! while Vamp B wants to play CS: Insubordination. Who gets to play their
card?

#3. Does a Psyche! played in response to a Legacy of Power prevent both
vampires from going to torpor?

Thanks!

Psyche! in both cases. Since it is a combat card, its timing window comes before
the timing window for Hidden Lurker and Fast Reaction (the latter two share the
same timing window, so then 1.6.1.6 decides which one gets to be played).

The Psyche! is played first.
Then, after the base combat but before the Psyche! combat starts, CS:I can be
played (since it isn't trying to start a new combat, just like Obedience could
be played). Same thing if you swap HL or FR for Psyche! in the example, although
then you go to 1.6.1.6 to see which can be played first.

Yes. It should probably not (LoP "should" just send the two to torpor and let
that event end the combat), but as it written, yeah. Not a problem, though,
so I don't foresee any errata for this one any time soon.

I doubt so : when Legacy of power is played, the combat is not entered. You
can't play a combat card when there is no combat at all.

card icon : Reaction card.
the wording "combat does not occur" would be better.

Again, it is not a problem, so I don't foresee any errata for this one
any time soon.

Understood =)

but i always put 2 or 3 copies of this card in decks where i play princes,
only for the ability of stopping super combat machines. So i would be upset
if someone plays Psyche and avoids getting torpored.
Please just tell us both vampires get torpored anyway.

Correct.
It does.
It probably should not.
But it doesn't merit errata to make it "not".
See several repetitions of this above.
