Did the Imbued decks contest each other? What were the major
differences between them?

Olivier's deck only had 4 different crypt cards.
Matt's has 11 different crypt cards.
Matt's had Donate and Inspire.
I don't remember Olivier ever playing either one.
I believe Matt was playing this one:

with any luck, Alex will be able to keep track of all of the hundreds
of deck lists they required over the weekend and post the winning
ones.

IIRC, Olivier and Ruben are against having their deck lists posted....
The finalist decks of the 4 big constructed tournaments will be posted
today and tomorrow.
Meaning a total of 20 finalists.
Both Olivier and (hopefully) Ruben are informed that their lists will
be posted. Olivier took it as a chance to post the reports for all
tournaments he's won with the deck and enter the hall of fame (iirc).
The decklists for the 83 player constructed sideevent for ec 2 has
been sent to Sten. I have a nice pile of 15 lists on my bed that are
the lcq, ec1 and ec 2. So keeping track is not a problem so far ;)

No one entering a VEKN sanctioned event has any choice.

It's very interesting how many masters there are, almost 35%. But since
most cards are permanents, I guess the jamming from having too many
masters isn't that important.
I bet the Smiling Jacks are more for contesting than for ousting...
20% conviction - is that a good number in general, oh witness1, Darby,
and other Imbued practitioners?
best -

Personally I've run into trouble with that many masters.

Probably, but with some Travis bloat and solid defense it can be an
ousting mechanism as well.

Normally I'd go with just 2-3 more, but if Olivier wins with it, it
must work well enough.

I didn't notice the 2 Parthenons the first time I read the list...
as XPMaster says I am actually living in Parish, but I am Spanish and
I am proud of it ;-)

Yes. Of course I was running both Travis (2 copies, the only guy who's
doubled in my crypt) and Jennie, but I never drew either of them, despite
de-crypting several times. Those two were essential to Olivier's deck.
Had I contested them, Olivier might not have had the juice to kill Ruben,
but I never had the opportunity to contest. I didn't really have the pool
to try either as my predator (Antonio with his Anson deck) was able to
offer me some decent pressure despite the many Memories of Mortality both
Olivier and I played on his vampires.
I had actually been chatting with Antonio before the game started about
how the two of us, as 4th and 5th seed, had a responsibility to try to win
or die trying rather than sit there for 2 hours and humbly collect a half
VP. Antonio never let up the pressure on me throughout the entire game
and probably ultimately died when he could've tried to stay walled against
Ruben because he was unwilling to stop trying to oust me. If not for
Olivier's Jennie getting my guys out of the hospital cheaply, I would've
had an extremely difficult time surviving, much less earning a VP.
> Matt's had Donate and Inspire.
> I don't remember Olivier ever playing either one.
No. He doesn't use either of those, but plays more Vigilance and also
runs equipment and allies. These are the primary differences between our
two decks. We both push the Memories of Mortality and rely heavily on the
resilience of the Imbued, so there are still obvious similarities.
> I believe Matt was playing this one:
Yeah, but I made some modifications. I dropped 2 Angels of Berlin (hardly
ever use them in this deck) for a second DI and a second Parthenon. I
kicked the 2x Bond to the curb as well as Hide and Project, since I never
got much use out of those. With those 4 extra slots, I put in an extra
Vigilance and one more of each Conviction (since I had run out in the past
with only 21 Convictions).
The deck performed great all day. I was a little too slow to get the GW
on my first table (timed out with one player left), but cleaned up the
other two without too much trouble. In the final, Olivier drew all the
good stuff (aforementioned minions, Church of Vindicated Faith, Parthenon,
etc.) before I did, probably because he plays two of each and I have only
one. He also played Unmasking and Edge Explosion for me, which I didn't
mind at all. If the final round hadn't gone to time, Olivier would've
ousted me due to my terrible luck of not having a Sudden in my hand when
he played Smiling Jack. Still, I was a long way from death and had him
outnumbered. Adding a Jack of my own would've probably given me better
than even odds in such a showdown. Since I couldn't contest Jack, the
game would've gone to Olivier, so I don't mind settling for 2nd place.

Yeah, I looked around and it doesn't look like the LCQ decks have been
posted yet. If they don't show up soon, I can post my current decklist.
