Since David hasn't posted this, I'll post it on his behalf.

27 players did battle at the Unlimited Hobbies. The final table was:

Ivor (Settites) -- Steve Harris (Tremere) -- Claudio Gomes (!Brujah)
-- Michael Bailey (Toreador) -- Tim Watson (Giovanni)

Ivor won after a hard fought game with the following deck. Only
having been playing for a number of months, he came 2nd in the
Brisbane Qualifier (his first tournament) and won this (his second).
Pretty good going for a n00b.

Its too bad neither of those events have been reported to White Wolf.

Its nice to start out with a high rating, but that requires the judges
to do their jobs completely.
