It's only European players right now, and 5 NA players.

Heh. More properly, its a map of French players, and 20 "others", but I
put my info up...

I love the idea!
Great work!

Year at the beginning it was just a map for France but Moravagine, the
guy who did it, expanded it to a world map pretty recently. The idea is
cool I think and it might be useful if you're going on a trip in a
place that you think as being in the middle of nowhere to see if
there's not some VTES player around.
Arthur,
Will probably have to work in Ireland next year...
Definitely a cool idea. I forwarded the link to Brazilian newsgroups to
see if people here are interested. 12 players so far.
The map could be a useful resource. Plus, it's fun. ;)

For now, the whole of Asia is lumped together. Can we have a separate
link for us? :)

Sure. It looks like a homemade Frappr.com map... Neat.

PS- Sorry for the top posting earlier. I was at work and I'm proof that
men can't multitask. :D
#1. Russia is excluded from Europe (seems to be under Asia).
#2. French and British possessions (Martinique, Guadeloupe, French
Guinea are actually parts of France I think, while IIRC British
Overseas Territories are under the sovereignty of the U.K. but
technically not actually part of it?), in the Caribbean are not marked
as part of Europe.
#3. Arguably, Turkey is geographically located in Europe as well
(though also in Asia).
#4. And for fair representation, the poor researchers in Antarctica are
sad they are being left out of the map as well!
#5. If Central America gets its own section (separate from North and
South America), then wouldn't it be logical to have separate sections
for the Middle East and possibly India instead of simply lumping them
up under Asia?

Not that you can actually place yourself in Greenland...

Baba Yaga has clearly clouded the frenchmen's minds.

Given that this is a matter of geography, they should stay in the
Caribbean.

Given its population density, you betcha.

They may just have to list themselves to their permanent addresses.

Given the number of VtES players signed up for each so far, I wouldn't
bother.

If you want to spread it out the world, the country names should be in
English. I was thinking a while until I guess how you call UK :)

I wonder why I'm not showing up. I registered my name once but
it never shows - and when I try to do it again, it rejects the attempt
because it says, "That name already exists." What am I doing
wrong?

I'm pretty upset that the Vatican doesn't rate its own country. They
will be trying to field a FIFA football (soccer for us 'mericans) team.
I imagine there are prelates that are into bleeding, being children of
Caine etc etc.
or not.
