Subject: Ohio VtES and the economy
Something funny I heard today. A study was done on the Ohio social
scene. When Ohioans are out spending money for the nightlife,
specifically at bars on alcohol, there is a correlation between the
increased spending and an increase/improvement in the U.S. economy.
The last year the Ohio nightlife spending increased by more than five
percent. The economy has also improved over this  time.

Perhaps the strong VtES community in Ohio can be shown to someone at
CCP or WotC. It could go like this,"Mr. Game Company Guy, look at the
strong VtES community in Ohio. Its a key economic indicator of the
possible profit to be made by producing VtES! There are studies that
have been done."

Well, maybe not. I wish I had a link, but I heard about this study on
Sportsradio this morning. It reminded me of a talk I had with James
Messer back at the Las Vegas tournament a few years ago. He was
telling me about all the things to do and see in Ohio. I thought to
myself,"No need to give options, you have a huge VtES community with
some of the best players in the world! Nothing else needs to be said."
