I could go into why cardbot picks certain cards when you don't expect
him to, but it's more fun to watch people suffer. Maybe someday I'll
be less lazy and rewrite the search logic.
If in doubt, type the whole name, and spell everything correctly; also
watch out for cardbot's stabs- I hear that they hurt.

So, Jesse, don't keep us in suspense - what was it that you didn't
like about Teresita? Or is it just lucky that we haven't been seeing
this deck for a whole two more years?
- D.J.
He's been playing it. You should show up to more tournaments.
John Eno
I've seen it once or twice, now that I recall, but yeah, I should try
to manage more tournaments.
Still wondering whether Teresita had a downside, though.
- D.J.
Jesse mentioned recently that he doesn't have Internet access at home,
so he might be a while getting back to you...?
John Eno
Good to know.
You're probably going to tell me that he mentioned that at a
tournament or something, eh? :-)
- D.J.
As a matter of fact...
John Eno
Well, either way it would only have been a few more months, since a
big chunk of the deck comes form Sword of Caine. I guess I never
looked into Terresita because I was originally attracted to Lubomira,
who is not playable in the same deck as Terresita. A few people on IRC
tried to tell me that Lubomira's disadvantage is bad enough that I'd
be better off playing groups 3 + 4 to take advantage of Terresita and
Roger Farnsworth. It seems to me that people often underestimate how
important small differences in cost are, however. The extra 2 pool
spent on vampires in that configuration really would be a big deal, as
would the the extra transfers to bring them out. With my current
crypt, if I get 4 starting transfers I can bring out Lubomira turn 1,
placing 1 blood on Djuhah. On turn 2, I can play Reunion Kamut,
bringing Djuhah to 3, and then bring him out at the end of the turn.
I've run across that exact situation multiple times in play, including
in the USNC final. Roger and Terresita can't do that. Also, Lubomira's
disadvantage almost never matters because (a) sometimes your prey just
doesn't have a titled guy, (b) I can use Spying Mission to avoid
triggering it, and (c) I can untap her sometime after the bleed and
leave her untapped to play Truth in Ink. All 3 of these things
happened in the USNC final, among other games.
I do have a plan for using Terresita though, so go ahead and gear up
for the day I bring that to Boston.
