This looks like a bad combo, am I right?

Mostly because getting Wormwood out with 6+ counters on it looks really hard...

Well. The New Inquisition is a peculiar thing: you can burn it as a
vote, and that makes it fairly interesting for Wormwood. Lutz also
shares OBF and PRE with Pentweret who has aus. The Rising and Thirst
make excellent openers with The New Inquisition and Rise of the
Nephtali to follow. Temptations and Form of Corruptions work with New
Inquisition, Enkil Cog and The Rising combo well. Banishment looks OK.

Neferu and Shemti both have votes and thats three 9 cap FoS so add in
Eternals of Sirius. Reinforcements to recycle the New Inquisitions and
you are ready to go.

You can't (usefully) recycle the New Inquisitions.

"Each event can only be played once in a game." [1.6.4]

That's a silly rule.

I'm now officially 'in a huff' until further notice.

Its extra hard when Wormwood isn't your second Gehenna event to hit
the table. To make sure I drew them in the right order I thought of
using Sybil's Tongues to draw into the event I needed. Maybe you can
use this module I used for a Nightmare Upon Nightmares / Wormwood
deck.

6x Sybil's Tongue (might need more depending on library size and how
quickly you move cards)
1x Nightmare Upon Nightmares (guessing you'll find a different event)
1x Wormwood
1x The Unmasking (probably need replacing in your deck)
1x Thirst
1x Restricted Vitae
1x Recalled to the Founder (might need replacing in your deck)
1x Blood Weakens
1x Torpid Blood

Anthelios, Blood Trade and/or Break the Code might be possible
substitutions for your deck.

Later,
