I've just been wondering, after the release in February, and now
getting so close to June, nothing has been announced in both WW and
CCP about any more sets in V:TES

¿Are we going to have more? To be certain about that.... at least
release the name of the set or something! Things like that keep the
interest on the game higher than saying nothing.

Judging by the responses you got no one wants to give an official
answer. Kind of a shame. VTES deserves more support than White Wolf/
CCP give it. Yet, that is far from the case.

October release wouldn't be a deviation from the habitual schedule,
given a large set released in February. Mid-summer announcement of an
October set wouldn't be unreasonable. I don't know how much in
advance the development would need to be done, but it seems like it
would already be underway on a set to be released late this year.

Was wondering the same thing myself.

Last time I bought a box from my local retailer, he suggested I buy up
big, as come November V:tES would cease to be produced. Perhaps just a
ploy to part a fool from his cash. Even so...

I'm guessing if it was going to happen, there would have been an
official response already so I won't bother asking a second time. Can
I put in a request though for a Sabbat release filling out Group 5
Sabbat and a Sabbat vamp for each Group 6 bloodline?

No harm in asking, right? ;)

Heard the same from my local retailer. So you're not alone in that.

Didn't Oscar say that the next set was under development, when HttB
came out?

Possibly. Personally, I don't put much stock in what my local retailer
says. Has a tendency towards hyperbole and schadenfreude. I believe he
got the information for this off the press release by Dancey late last
year regards legacy games.

The problem is, if you assume a 6 month lead time from playtest to
print, that puts HttB as an already-in-the-pipe thing. I'm not
screaming for answers, but given that release by Dancey, you'd think
the VTES marketeers would be all over it.

Yeah, they've totally got more than 1 marketeer for VTES. Probably a
whole team. They're just very quiet.

I really doubt it is so late in the cycle that White Wolf couldn't
start releasing some kind of info in June, possibly even July given
HTTB was late. If September comes and goes and we have heard nothing
then at that point I will be a little worried.

Oh, where is Kevin to quell these chicken little tidings!?! Don't you
know, all is well, all is well.

The most likely place to find announcements of new VTES sets is on
Potomac's website. I would keep checking back there.

It hasn't been worth it for more than 10 years, really,
but I keep hoping. Anyway.

Just a quick positive note - the developer of the VtR line says that
V:tES will continue:
