[LSJ] Kemintiri question

Kemintiri (basic, untitled) becomes an Anarch.
Kemintiri (basic) becomes a Baron.
Kemintiri (basic) merges with Kemintiri (advanced).

She now has two unique titles that do not preclude each other. Is this
correct?

I'm not LSJ, but I'd asssume that when she merges she gains a new,
unnamed title, replacing her old title.

Rulebook section 10: "No matter what sect, a vampire cannot have more
than one title. If a vampire with a title gains another, he loses the
first title, even if the new title would be a demotion."

Section 10.3: "Some Independent vampires may start with votes, as
listed on card text. Treat these vampires as if they had titles of
their own."

Ah, cool. I was looking for this in the online rulebook, but did not see it.

It can occur for any vampire where the merged version has votes. Eg,
Jeremy MacNeil becomes an Anarch and then the Nephtali liaison. He then
Merges. He would lose his liaison title and instead become Baron of Los
Angelos.
