hi.

Where do the cards put on a vampire removed by Golconda go? In the ash
heap or are they removed from the game?

Simple question, but I don't have an answer now-now. :)

Thanks for answering

Choose a vampire with a capacity 8 or more. Remove that vampire from
the game. His or her controller gains pool equal to the vampire's
capacity. His or her controller may cancel this card as it is played
by burning 2 pool.

Removed from game means not in ash heap, but out of play entirely.

The vampire is removed from game.
If it was a merged vampire, both crypt cards are removed from game.

Any other cards on him go to the ash heap.

Brandon,

I think Mathieu's question was not about the vampire removed from the
game by Golconda but about the cards _on_ the vampire removed from the
game by Golconda.

From rule 1.1 #2 of the VtES rulebook, final sentence:
"When a card is burned or removed from the game, any counters or other
cards on it are burned."

From the first sentence of the same rule:
"When a card is 'burned', it is placed into its owner's discard pile (the
discard pile is called the 'ash heap' for this reason)."

Thus, the answer to Mathieu's question is: in the ash heap.

Ah, good call. Sorry Mathieu, misunderstood your question.

Haha, no worries.

So I'll just make a Parthenon/anthelios/villein/golconda combo. Nasty
bloating technique :p

Mathieu,
It's called the Modern AAA.
Anson
Anneke
Alexandra
Villein, Golconda, Zillah's Valley/Toreador Grand Ball
Using Anson's text & Anthelios to cycle Masters

It's brutally fast at bloating, but can be shut down if it is severely
crippled early.

I'm doing it with KoT vampires mostly, and Malgorzata to have free-to-
go Govern the Unaligned. Well, I count on Mirror walk and some
obfuscate. (Crypt includes Carlak, Epikasta Rigatos, Graham Gottesdam,
Karen Suadela and a copy of Lutz.)

Haha. I don't really care, for that deck will not become an archetype.
It's too weird and a tad too malkavian, I guess, for some players.
(and by Malkavian I do not mean S/B, just twistedness.)
