I'm confused - there's no rush, and your only 2 intercept cards are No
Secrets From the Magaji. So we can assume that you can't get into
combat when you want to. Then, there's not much in the way of
offensive combat anyway, so it's not like you're going to knock many
people into topor except with the occasional Kiss of Ra. And it's not
like you're bleeding for much with your lots-of-large-vamps and no
+bleed (except for Trophy: Revered, which I don't see how you could
ever get on a vamp). Sure, you could potentially get out several
large vamps if your bloat engine gets going, but that seems incredibly
slow. So... a) how does it get trophies? and b) how does it win?
Is there some nasty combo in there that I'm missing?

Red List an Informant, wait until it wanders away, walk up to it and
punch it?

Like, I dunno how well that works in practice, but that looks like the
idea. If so, I'm not sure why there isn't more of that tech in the
deck, but it seems like a funny concept if nothing else.

John Eno seem to get it - you rush the red listed informants. Yes, it
is tricky to time that, but when it works it´s very nice. Revered is
key for oust, and I should throw in a couple of Heart of the City. And
yes, it is a slow deck, and not very suited for tournaments, but it´s
fun to play.

I cann't understand how can this deck work for you without rush cards.
If I would be your prey or predator as soon as you make Informant an
red list I would rush him to deny trophies to you.

Okay, yeah, I missed Red Listing the Informants, which is funny,
because I've been planning a Caiphas Smith deck based around the same
thing. And I guess the Red List rush action gets around the need for
actual rush cards, but that's a multi-turn process, since you can't
rush them the same turn you Red List them. And with only 2
Informants, it doesn't seem very reliable... maybe I'm wrong.

I will admit that I totally spaced on the fact that it is *possible*
to get the trophies. But it still doesn't seem likely...

In the Caiaphas Smith version, I had intended on using Set's Curse to
burn him and also gain a free ally. =)

And yes, I do see the summonings, but it seems dicey that your
predator and/or prey wouldn't do what Tazar suggested and just rush
them. Maybe replacing the Summonings with more Informants and hope to
get 2 or more of them in play, Red Listed, at the same time? But then
you're more reliant on the Ishtarri to do the recruit actions...

People I play against tend to not do that - at lease not until they
get what´s happening. And they´re generally occupied with other
actions.

But what about suggesting some improvements to the deck instead of
just asking the same thing Berger already asked?

Ok, some thoughts about your deck.

1) You play a lot of combat cards (I tend to play 6-10 max) that
suggests heavy combat environment to me. As I wrote in my question
that makes red list informant just a greater target after few games.
Vessels+blood dolls won't help you if you get too much pool damage in
the first rounds of the game so I would suggest 2 villeins. Trophy
selection seems right to me. Personally I love Trophy: No Questions
and Trophy: Retainers together with Shaman on Laibons. As you play a
lot of allies there is quite a potencial in Jibade (adv) together with
some aye for protection (even for redlisted informant). I know that
burning him makes you loose 1 Aye but you can still burn him with
other vampire or just sacrifice 1 Aye.

So:
crypt:
-1 Ubende (only for)
+1 Jibade el-Bahrawi (advanced) (or you can go for 3x normal version +
1 adv)

-4 blood doll
+2 Villein
+2 Aye
-2 Procurer
+2 Bum's Rush
-1 Kiss of Ra (in my opinion most of heavy blocking vampires have for)
+1 .44 Magnum
-1 Resilience
+1 Epiphany
-1 Rolling with the punches
+1 Ishtarri Kholo (if noone plays politics you have more than enough
votes. If they do, you can get this on Jibade as a reaction)
