Battle Lines storyline infernal Bahari untapping question

The storyline rules state:

"Infernal minions controlled by Metuselahs aligned with the Bahari faction
untap normally with no pool cost."

I have an infernal minion and I'm playing for the Bahari. That minion has
been hit by a "does not untap as normal" effect, such as a Flash Grenade or
Sensory Deprivation.

Can this minion:

A) untap as an infernal minion normally does by paying one pool, with the
Bahari mechanic only giving the option to untap as a normal minion?

or

B) do they *only* untap normally and therefore cannot use the infernal
mechanic to untap, because the Bahari mechanic removes the normal
infernal untapping mechanism?
