If you want to access this channel, you have two options available:
OPTION 1
========
All you need is an IRC client of some kind: mIRC http://www.mirc.com,
or IceChat for Windows http://www.icechat.net/site/.
In any case, here is a list of IRC clients:
http://www.ircreviews.org/clients/
And then go to sorcery.net and select a server:
OPTION 2
========
For those of you having problems with IRC clients, or who want an
instant access to #vtes, I suggest that you use
Sorcery.Net:
There are two options available there:
1. JAVA IRC APPLET
With the Java-based client you don't have to install anything on your
computer. The only requirement is a webbrowser with support for Java
1.3 or higher. Most recent browsers already have this by default. When
the applet doesn't seem to work in your browser, you can try to get
the
most recent version of Java here. (this applies to most Internet
Explorer users)
2. WEBBASED IRC CLIENT (usable from work)!!!
The webbased client allows you to connect when you're behind a
firewall
that blocks direct access to the IRC server. Supported browsers
include
Netscape 4.x and higher, Mozilla, Opera, links and Internet Explorer
5.x and higher.
Enter your nickname and the name of the channel (#vtes), and you will
get into the real world of VTES :-)
