That seems to be the deck where Etrius gets the Ankhara Citadel and
then bleeds you for lots. Mostly with Perfectly Clarity so you can't
Deflect / Redirct. And sometimes the deck picks a card from you hand
with Revelations.

If you are on the receiving end and you don't have lots of AUS bounce,
rushes or an Archon Investigation at the right moment, it is a pretty
boring game. Just a tiny bit less boring than being on the receiving
end of a notmal stealth bleed deck.

For a less tight version see: http://www.thelasombra.com/decks/twd.htm#2k6shameohio

To be honest, I don't think that using Mistress Fanchion and setting
her up for a few turns makes the deck a lot better. Between using her
special and setting her up with Blithe Acceptance, Helicopter and
Rutor's Hand you will lose a turn or two. Probably too much if you
have a fast predator.

Just count the turns: min. 3 turn to get Fanchion out.
Turn 4: Use special to get Magic / Rutor's Hand --> M. Fanchion tapped
Turn 5: Equip with Helicopter / get Rutor's Hand --> M. Fanchion
tapped
Turn 6: Equip with Ankara Citadel / get Blithe Acceptance, maybe play
Revelation or bleed for the first time.
Turn 7: bleed once more, probably first possibility to oust.

Haven't tried it though, so I might be wrong.

Kind regards,

Marcus

Reasonable. Any idea where the name "Gore" came from? Just curious.

it was the name Kamel came up with, when he made the deck long ago.
"Goretrius". Etrius was Legendary and bleeding for 10 usually, so it was
gore or something. Ask him about that casual game when the other players put
8 Archon Investigation in his prey's deck while he was at the toilets :p

I am trying out a similar deck idea, not for bleed but multi acting
mistress. Many Zillah's Valleys, info highway.

Get Fanchon out turn 2.
Turn 3 she fetches the Alastor vote card,
Turn 4 she calls vote, places Helicopter on herself, untapped, fetches
Rutors after untap.
Turn 5 she Rutor's, untaps, does something silly. Ancient influence is
usually rather funny at this point, as is a bleed for 8....

That is a fair bit more efficient than what you described above.....

So, you now have Mistress Fanchon who can act three times per turn,
two if she's blocked constantly.
You've used 4 turns, quite possibly 13 pool (Zillah once, and
Helicopter for 1 pool).
What do you do with her?
More to the point, what do you do with her, that 13 pool worth of
faster, smaller minions could do, and quite propably already have had
a chance to do so?

I think Fanchon trickster is damn nice, but falls to the superstar-
syndrome =/

Ah, nice. Haven't noticed before that Alastor places the equipemnt on
the vampire so it comes into play untapped.
I guess I should read the card texts more closely...

Well she can bleed for 8 on my preys turn, secure from AI. She can
call KRC, Banishment, Neonate breach. She govern down, she can fetch a
card from my deck that helps, depending on whether i am facing a
swarm, a wall, a combat deck. What she can do that smaller, cheaper
minions cannot is to tune my hand for exactly the situation i am
facing, allowing a numerically smaller group of cards to allow a more
varied response

nah. In french, 'gore' is short for 'goret', sort of small pig, in turn
related to some slang french stuff...no time to elaborate, sorry :o

You can bleed for 8 on turn 4 if you want, which is usually a bad idea
regardless of the deck you have. Once she has rutors hand and/or
helicopter, you can bleed once a turn (2 with enkil) and do one other
action.
It is a little weak on the defense side but there are small vampires
who can block/deflect that you can take out depending on your pred.
You also have mind rape.

Goretrius is a well-known achretype in the french-speaking playgroups.
It consists of bleeding for lots with etrius and making use of perfect
clarity and revelations.
Gore would also come from gory (lots of blood flying around from all
that ruthless bleeding).

I had one soul decoration in the first draft but removed it since it
was a little cornercase. It's not a bad idea though, since it is
easily cycled-instead of a govern maybe.
