buying a collection need advice please

demands that either i can supplie all those interesed in the game with
decks or not be able to play at all.
so to do that i will be needing more cards. espcialy the staple cards
like wake, vessle, deflection etc. i think it might be best to try and
buy a compleat collection to provide me with all the diffrent cards i
will be needing. i just went through 87 pages of ebay auctions but not
one collection is up for auction.
where else could i look for someone seeling a compleat collection ?
any help would be much apriciated.

It seems to me that the shortcut for that would be to buy displays of
starter boxes and tweak them using Atomweaver's Challenge.

Hmm.
I think if you were to click on Auctions Only, you'd find fewer
results and they would be more appropriate. The buy-it-now things
seem to be driven by the VTES stores / dedicated sellers.

If you have time to wait, collections certainly do show up on ebay,
and not too rarely. Sometimes they go very cheap.

once there has been a new playgroup established im sure we will buy
boxes but during the process of group building i feel its easier to
jsut be able to sell them thier first deck for very small money to
give them a deck that runs smoothly without them haveing to comit too
much money at first. i know the starters have excelent quality but
this way im even more flexable. for instance a friend of mine who
tried the game once would love to play weeny makem princes politics.
that is a deck i cant provide via the starters but can with buying the
right kind of collection. since its been very difficult to find
potential new players in hamburg i need to be as forthcomeing to
potential new players as possible to get them hooked. seriously its
been something like 5 years since my last proper game of vtes so im a
little desperate ^^

Two Options:
#1 Buy an even mix of starters and boosters (1 box starter to 1 box
boosters) from the last Indie, Sabbat and Cam sets.
#2 Buy bulk lots of ebay auctions. I bulked out a LOT of my
collection this way. I got a number of 500+ card lots that contained
wads of commons (wakes, for combat, cel combat, deflections, GtUs,
Conditionings, etc, etc, etc) but it will include a fair handful of
wallpaper (I think I now own about 4 Scorn of Adonis, Gangrel
Devolution and a few of those other "excellent" clan-hosers).
