Given how disperse the clan standings are, the winning Motivation is
likely to play a large role in the aftermath story and reward.

Be sure to include the Motivation of the winning player in all
reports.

My records indicate two storyline events that have been unofficially
reported, but aren't yet present on the White Wolf website. An
additional win for the Guruhi and one more for the Malks.

Guruhi won the event in Canberra, Australia, according to a newsgroup
post:

Date: 2nd December 2009
Number of players: 9
Winner: Chris Wall
Winning clan: Guruhi
Motivated by: Secrecy
Key minion: Eze the Demon Prince

Malkavians won the Flint, Michigan storyline event.

Date: 12th December 2009
Number of players: 8
Winner: ???
Winning clan: Malkavian
Motivated by: ???
Key minion: ???

A brief storyline report can be found on The Path of Blood:

The Lasombra have just one win (Singapore) and should be grouped with
the clans below.

And I think the Toreador Antitribu are now up to 3 wins (Tampere,
Finland; Bologna, Italy; and Brisbane, Australia).

There's also a real chance that there could be a tie. That would be
interesting.

Speaking of the Motivations, looking at the Top Clans:

Guruhi (6 wins) heavily prefer Secrecy (3 out of 6), with one win in
each of the three other Motivations.

The Brujah (5 wins) are extremely fearful of Gehenna, with all five of
their wins using the rush Motivation.

The Malks (4 wins) have 2 Jyhad wins, 1 Knowledge, and 1 unreported.

The Toreador Antitribu (3 wins) have 1 Secrecy and 2 unreported.

And the Ventrue (3 wins) have 1 of each Motivation except Gehenna.

No love for Blood Brothers, Daughters, Gangrel, !Gangrel,
Gargoyle, Nosferatu, !Nosferatu, Ravnos, Samedi, Tremere,
!Ventrue, or any of the Scarce clans (Abominations,
Nagaraja, Salubri, True Brujah).

Ah well.

I tried to help the Nos, but got hosed. Group 1/2 weenie obf bleed
with Jyhad was the motivation. Pretty strong.

Thanks. Added. That's 3 Secrecy wins for Eze.

That's pretty sketchy. Someone from the Flint event should report the
details on that one.

I was thinking I might try to back Brujah when I play on the 27th, but
now the criteria for "winning" the storyline is getting vague. Should
I bother? They have been unanimously motivated by Gehenna, but with
different key minions.

Dmitra as two wins, if you manage to win on the 27th with Brujah and
choose Dmitra, there will be some rough decisions based on the
results:
Guruhi vs Brujah
Eze vs Dmitra
Secrecy vs Gehenna

But then again that might not be enough.

Anyway on my point of view, this has been an interesting Storyline
because no clan has a considerable superiority over the others and
even with the special rule for Laibon, most people still played for
their clan and did not got tempted to use Laibon.

I'm curious about the final outcome of this storyline.

Go Brujah! Go! :)

Malk motivation was Jyhad, not sure if there was a key minion as it
was midcap bleeders. The Prince was playing them. Robba Yagga sleazed
out the win.

Hi Ben,

I emailled that one in to you too. I didn't just post it here:

I'm not sure how it _actually_ goes, but my impression was always that:

Clan with most wins = winning clan.

then of those that won with that clan, see who was that clan's key
minion (majority of the wins from that clan that chose that minion), and
also of the clan that won, see what motivated that clan (majority of the
winning clan's chosen motivation).

So it all flows down off the winning clan. if you want to back brujah,
back brujah. if brujah gets the most wins, brujah wins, regardless of
what motivation or key minion you chose.
