Genetic Anomalies Announces Chron X: Ascension

Today, Genetic Anomalies is officially announcing the second expansion set
for our ground-breaking Internet collectible card game (CCG), Chron X.
Available in early August, Chron X: Ascension will add more than 150 new
game pieces to the Chron X universe, bringing the total to over 500 cards.

Ascension completes the first Chron X trilogy and expands upon the base
world of Chron X including the 5 major factions of the game, FUS (Former
United States), Monastery, UN (United Nations), Nonames and Corporate.
Subsequent expansion sets will expand upon the Chron X backstory. Genetic
Anomalies plans to release at least 2 major Chron X expansion sets per
year.

In addition to the well-known CCG artists, designers and engineers that
have contributed to the first 2 cardsets, joining the Chron X: Ascension
team is Anthony Shubert, designer of one of the Internet's most popular
games, the award-winning Acrophobia. An integral part of Ascension design
and development, Anthony brings to Genetic Anomalies his skills and
experience with online gaming, online communities and collectible card
games.
