E - a blessed +5 crystal plate mail (being worn).
Playing a wizard, so nonmetal is good; but dang if any plate mail isn't heavy.
(Now I need a knock spell and a door. There is no god but the RNG, and Izchak
is the prophet of the RNG.)

I wonder what happens if monsters zap striking at your wizard.

(IIRC, crystal mail on the floor will shatter if zapped.)
Will the mail generally resist striking attacks?
Will it resist ("Boing!") while wearing the cloak of MR?
