Promising Valkyrie. Have GoP, GDSM, Mjollnir. Been trying to remember to throw Mjo when I can. Have a blessed BoH. Small irritation that all my b?oI have been two- or three-identify weakies, but I can deal with that. Quest level: Huh, new to me, first time I've gotten the Quest portal from the Rogue level. Oh lucky day, I have Fort Ludios! "oR from Sokoban. This is going to be a good game, right?
WildBill while satiated absent-mindedly tried to eat a centaur. WildBill, choked on a centaur.

Ooph! At least there's sustenance in a centaur. It could be worse. I know of a NetHacker who shall forever remain nameless 'cause Curly++ is too embarrassed to admit to this...
While luring wraiths from Gehennom in 3.2.2, one of The Castle's dragons wandered into the back yard. Hmm. Fire resistance would be nice, I'll just hack this thing's heart out, slice off some dragon steak... yum! That was satiating! No let's go back to luring those wraiths.

You did not get a message about wishing to finish the meal? My experience in 3.3.0 is that one chokes more often when eating while satiated. Maybe it's a function of the =oDS and taking it on and off. I try to plan eating for intrinsics by taking off that ring. It is a disappointing way to die though.

I second that. Deep in Gehennom, a wraith decides to leave a corpse on Orcus' level. Too bad i just snacked on black dragon on the level above... ugh. I had *everything*, AC sub -40, wishes left in the wand, etc etc etc.
Well luckily the stuff still is there... in the bones.

though.
I take it one step further, and put on my ring of hunger.

Spoiler...
I think you can only choke if you are satiated when you start eating.
BUT, you only get the warning if what you are eating takes more than a few turns to eat. Small things, like fortune cookies, tins of spinach and, apparently, wraith corpses can be eaten quickly and thus you don't get the warning message (which could explain why so many people seem to choke on these little things).
Hmmm. Prehaps the dev team should add a 'wafer thin mint' which will have suitably disasterous effects if eaten when satiated. ;-)
Mik (killed by choking on a blessed tin of spinach)

This all sounds too familiar of my second best (yet most Ascension worthy character ever)..
2 591086 gregor-Val-Hum-Fem-Neu choked on her food in Fort Ludios on level 19 [max 23]. Choked on a tengu corpse. 144 [145]
And the most stupid thing is that I already had TC- what was I thinking?????????????? Ah well.. maybe next time. :-)
