Zap self

Oh hai!!

How can you zap yourself? I mean im not a n00b and ive been playing
for a while nethack (65ish games). I still dont know how to zap myself
or cast healing on myself.

I've tried 5 on the numpad "." and other things like ">" but meh
"Thats a silly thing to do" =P

Then again... maybe im n00b.

The "." period key should work. Perhaps your numpad key is wonky, try
the one situated on your keyboard. The one next to the comma (on most
US keyboards)

"." is you, ">" is down or the ground, "<" is up the last two are used
both for directions and stairs.

Everyones got to be one sometime. The guidebook should be read next.
