BOSS was originally a variant of Moria for DEC VAX mainframes running OpenVMS system. The game is now ported to Linux and Windows. Source code should compile on most platforms supported by Free Pascal. Download binaries for Linux, Windows and source here: [link]

I've completed the player melee attack code, and a large chunk of the monster melee attacks, so you can actually attack, be attacked, and die. I have the source for a color version for the PC but it uses a limited color set and some of the color choices are a bit harsh. The old Mac Moria version that I used to play when I was younger was in color and used much subtler colors.... more »
