I'm curious about how damage bonuses are calculated.

Let's say my strength damage bonus is +4, my Gloves of Slaying damage is +3,
I have a x4 Composite Bow with damage bonus +10, and am using arrows (1d4)
that are SE with damage bonus of +4.

Knowing that SE does x2 damage vs evil monsters, what kind of damage range
would I be looking at? Specifically, I'm wondering whether the x2 damage vs
evil is calculated AFTER factoring all damage bonuses or just on the 1d4
damage of the arrows.

Also, does the "x4" for the Composite Bow only apply to range, or does it
mean something else?

The multiplier on arrows applies after all bonuses are added, while
the multiplier on melee weapons applies only to the weapon's base
damage. Thus your example does (1d4+17)*8; you don't get the +4 from
strength when using a bow.
