I've just cleared out the hive for the second time in my crawling
career, funnily enough it was the first branch I found, due to falling
down a shaft.

And it's the second time that I cannot find any way to descend below
hive2 .... crawlwiki says hive has 4 levels!?!

I guess this changed or is there some trick here that I don't know
about?

Hive have 2 levels now.

Hi Pegter,

the hive has been changed recently.. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll
change the wiki next time I log in.

Btw.. Did you noticed the huge water area in level 2? If you have a safe
way to explore that area you really should do it!

A nice surprises or two may wait for you at the end..

First time round I did, hoping to find that elusive stair to level 3
LOL. My troll monk had wands of digging to burn. Didn't find My Precious
though.
This time my spriggan stalker did not have a one. But he's just
learned how to fly, and he's in that area again after clearing out Orc -
might go stab some fish and take a look. ;-)
