I don't really mind when the Seven-Day Roguelike Challenge for 2012
happens, but I'm going to throw out some possible dates: Saturday,
March 3rd to Sunday, March 11th. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Cheers,
Tom.

I assume Jeff will be making his traditional post soon. But I have to
say, I think that in general it would be better if we agreed to hold
it in the first full week of March every year. It would let everyone
plan in advance.

Good idea! At some point the contest gets so big that counting
individual votes/opinions has a decreasing marginal utility. Saying
'first week in March' always lets people plan ahead, as you said.
And.. is not TOO far off from the past couple years if I am
remembering correctly.
Also looking forward to watching 7drl.org... it was blowing up the ol'
RSS reader for a good while.

My most favorite date is the week after
Saturday, March 10 to Sunday, March 18
that is when I have spring break and so is when I can program a game

Yep, the call for dates is the second last Wednesday of January.
Which is today!
It is a good question about the week setting. Of course, "First week
of March" is itself an inexact time, "Starting the First Saturday of
March" would be a bit more clear.
I'll add to this years voting the question if we should make this
years date become the annual date.
