Hello, everyone. The first public release of Forays into Norrendrin is
available at:

http://code.google.com/p/forays-into-norrendrin/downloads/list

Forays is a coffeebreak-to-medium length roguelike with a skill & feat
system. It's written in C# using Mono and works in any terminal (it
also runs on Windows, of course).

More information can be found at http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php/Forays_into_Norrendrin
.

(For those who might have tried earlier versions, one of the
improvements in 0.6.0 is the vastly improved help screen.)

I haven't gotten a chance to play the game, but I was looking through
the screenshots that were posted. Everything looks good to me, but
when I had gotten to the screens that showed the map, it somewhat hurt
my eyes. I don't know if this is just me, but I think that if you were
to make the map something like a gray instead of white, it would
definitely be easier for me to look at for longer periods of time.

There is an option(accessed with '=') to make out-of-sight areas much
darker. I hope it will make the brightness better for you.
