I started late (on Tues night).
I am aware that 7DRL ends today, Sunday.
Daylight saving time caught me off guard.

So ... my question is, what time should I declare success or failure?
Midnight Sunday for my time zone or later? (6 of 7 days a week I go to
bed at 3 AM or later)

You have to stop in the timezone you start in. So daylight savings
doesn't affect your 168 hours.

To be a 7DRL, you can stop next Tuesday, at the same hour you started
+1 for DST. But this won't be an official "In Challenge" roguelike.
But I think most players would rather have a fun game than something
technically "In Challenge", so that might be a good option.

The final possible end time for an "In Challenge" roguelike is 168
hours after the latest possible start time for an "In Challenge"
roguelike. So, since there is no requirements you use the timezone
you are physically located in (this is 2010. You could, after all, be
sshed into a server across the world), I leave it to you to do the
research to determine what time zone runs the longest. (Note,
however, you can't have started in a Daylight Savings Timezone if that
region didn't have daylight savings engaged on last Sunday!) Be
warned that research may very well take more time than you gain :>
