These casters are available at Harbor Freight for about $3.00 each. I
know because I bought four. I moved my machine about five feet and the
cheapass wheel broke - not just plastic, but crappy brittle plastic. The
thought of buying a bunch and selling them on EBay crossed my mind -
until it broke. Then my conscience wouldn't let me.

Bought four from Chinck Freight about 6 months ago, loaded them up maybe
6-7 times, by the 5th one of the wheel axles was bent and FUBAR. Gave
them away to someone else. Don't bother with these pieces of shit, get
heavy duty (250 lbs or more load beering weight per) or don't bother at all.

Yep, those are the 125 lb (or 132 it says) per and they are crap!

You can get the 3 wheel skates that load bare about 250 lbs per for
about 8 bucks each on sale. 109 for a pair of 'skates' is bullshit
pricing and way way way over priced.

I have a set from Menards (home/lumber store here in the midwest) that must
be made a lot better as they're plenty durable. They were about $8 each.

However, I quit using them when I learned that furniture sliders work great
on carpet. If you haven't tried them, they look like an absolute
informercial scam, but they really work.

I bought a set at The Home Depot a couple of years ago and they've worked great... I use them a couple of times a year to shuffle games around. The price I paid for them was closer to the price in the auction than your $3 HF price, though.

These are the ones I picked up, I think $8 each. They are great. I have a tight space and can shuffle 4 pins around with ease using them.

I got lucky and got a set of good casters with a Strikes & Spares I
purchased for $150 a few years back.

I've had the ones from HD for almost 10 years. You get what you pay
for at HF. Some bargains but a lot of junk.

I have the furniture sliders on all my games. Work great on carpet.
They'll even work on concrete although it will wear them out pretty
fast.

Agreed - furniture sliders are part of my "time to move pins around"
routine. I also have the little 'sheepskin' covers that go over the
sliders and help moving pins across my hardwood floors.

I've got a solid wood TV cabinet that is the heaviest damned thing
ever-it has to weigh 400 pounds. Inside it is an old CRT 32" Mitsubishi
TV that died. We replaced that with a nice flat screen, and moved the
cabinet with the TV out of our bedroom. We put one of those sliders
under each corner and just pushed it out of there, no sweat. Greatest
damned things ever invented.

I have my 16.5" ball bowler on magic sliders and you can move it around
when you have to. They work great.

+1 on the magic sliders, I have the ones that are the cup type under
each leveler on all my machines and they make it a breeze to move them
on
carpet. I also use the heavy duty type three wheel like the harbor
freight ones in my workshop, never have a problem with them excpet once
in a while one gets left behind. (kind of like a straggler on un-even
floor) They even
worked well with my pin 2000 unit.
